How to Turn a Restaurant Night Into a Complete Social Campaign
Design the guest experience and the content plan as one connected idea—before, during and after the room comes alive.

A restaurant campaign works hardest when the reason to visit and the reason to share are the same idea. Instead of treating content as documentation after the fact, build it into the guest experience from the beginning.
Before: sell the night that hasn’t happened yet
Start with a real occasion: a chef collaboration, a menu reveal, a new service moment or a seasonal point of view. That gives the campaign a clear promise. From there, create the invitation assets, talent list, shot plan and distribution calendar together.
Name the experience in language a guest would repeat.
Make the menu and atmosphere visually recognizable.
Give invited creators a useful story, not only a reservation time.
During: light the room for phones, then let it happen
Lighting, pacing, service and camera access all shape what can be captured. A coordinated plan keeps the venue feeling alive while giving the production team the moments it needs. Capture the signature cocktail, the first plate, the host on camera and the room at its fullest—but leave space for real reactions.
After: the library outlives the evening
One night can support announcement assets, live coverage, short-form edits, still photography and evergreen venue content. Organize the deliverables by channel and purpose so the restaurant leaves with a library, not a single recap.
The best campaign is more than a post. It is a reason to visit. See how CDC Collective approaches restaurant promotion.
